Helpless Americans

Middle class are the helpless Americans in this country. Why? We do not have any representation in Washington. We may vote, but our voices are ignored by Congress.

Want proof. Look at how many times the majority of Americans wanted or did not want a law passed, yet Congress ignored what the majority wanted and passed a law to satisfy lobbyists and corporate America.

Forget parties (Republican, Democrat, Independents), we should come together as Americans without representation. Even though middle class is still the majority in population in the U.S., the majority of the wealth is held by the top 1% of the population. It is obvious which majority Politicians cater to. Meanwhile, instead of passing meaningful legislation to help middle class families, the politicians play the game of ridiculing the other party to keep middle class divided and bouncing back and forth between parties while they continue to pass laws that favor corporate America.
